Publication Acceptance

Publication acceptance.  Joy stabs deep with almost painful intensity as validation is realized in a rush of confidence after so long alone with only my words to keep me company.

Publication acceptance.  Unexpected validation of secret daydream goals of accomplishment out of a solitary stretch of effort.  External commentary on inner musings that fight their way out into the light of day to be shared with the world after gestating alone in the dark.  Joy stabs deep and grabs hold of something, pulling it up with painful intensity as confidence rushes in, accepting all aspects of its own twisted nature.

Publication acceptance.  Enthusiastic waving of paper in an empty room.  Unexpected validation of not so secret assumption that daydream goal would result in accomplishment.  External commentary on erstwhile lonely inner musings that fight amongst themselves to be the first to burst out into the light of day from the darkness of my isolated mind.  Squabbling ideas from different members of the subconscious crew emerge while nobody is left to navigate; separation from others results in fractured inner life seeking a dialogue where only a single protagonist resides.  Joy stabs deep, grabbing and pulling to bring that twisted something into the world, which builds confidence with painful intensity as it discovers all aspects of its own wondrous nature and reaches for connection and response from the outside.

Publication acceptance.  Rushing to share the news in any way that presents itself to achieve connection with others.  Enthusiastic waving of an arbitrary and unexpected paper validation of a not so secret and long harboured assumption that daydream of personal accomplishment would be realised.  External commentary on endlessly bickering inner musings that fight amongst themselves to be the first to blink their eyes in the light of day, casting shadows with their enlarged egos.  Squabbling ideas from different members of the subconscious crew emerge while the bridge of the ship is left empty and bereft of navigational control; the fractured personality fights with itself about where to direct its isolated creative juices next.  Joy stabs deep with a serrated knife, catching on muscle and sinew and pulling twisted internal organs into the view of the outside world, which bestows confidence with painful intensity as others discover all aspects of my naked and wondrous nature.
