Close your eyes and see,
His by-nature pure blood,
married with holy sweat,
trickling through folds,
of furrowed human flesh.

Close your eyes and see,
His desire to be relieved,
of the cup, it's brim flowing,
with fury pounding and heaving,
demanding justice appeased.

Close your eyes and see,
His lips stretched wide,
until cracked skin broke,
taking in the raging tide,
of death, our death, He took.
